In 2004 founder Darryl Curtis became a Garmin dealer and Bandit GPS was formed.

A decade later in 2014 Bandit GPS and Boltons GPS warehouse merged and formed Navworld.

In 2015, Darryl’s continuous involvement with off road racing and the Dakar Rally fueled a need for off-the-grid connectivity. After exiting Navworld, Curtis Mobile was founded in order to pursue satellite communication solutions.

Curtis Mobile is a distributor for SPOT satellite tracking products in the SADAC region as well as a service provider for Inmarsat and are a proud partner of Globecomm.

We have also partnered with African Stuff and have developed products and a tracking platform specifically for off road racing.

Curtis Mobile is proud to supply connectivity to the Red Bull KTM Factory team, Overdrive, Toyota SA and several other Dakar race teams.
